The farm practices 21years of no-till and 12 years of cover crops. Also a crop rotation and growing exclusively Non-GMO crops. Our farm focuses on cow health and soil health for next generation to farm sustainably.

  • This 50 acres had corn silage last year followed by rye as extra for the spring. Spring we planted Non-GMO soybeans after harvesting rye for silage and a light coat of manure 4000 gallons. Now after bean harvest planting cover.

  • October 7th field scouting the beans and had to scout the cover crop too
  • Newly acquired land got some culture shock this year. This farm was minimum tilled with a "rotation" of corn and beans for 15 plus years. we no-tilled spring wheat, applied manure and planted cover crop August 20th
  • Planting April 26th into standing rye
  • Sometimes the Sunflower comes up a year later
