This ONFARM edge-of-field site aims to quantify the impact of cover crops on water quality leaving the field. Cereal rye was planted following soybean harvest in fall 2020 and a portion of the field was left without a cover crop. A T-shaped berm in the field separates the two treatments, each with its own tile and surface outlet. This trial will be repeated in fall 2021. *please call ahead of visiting*
