| Dr. Laura Van Eerd – Long-Term Research Plots | 11am – 12pm | 911# 20701 Victoria Rd (former Hwy 21) N of Gosnell Line | Tour Dr. Laura Van Eerd’s long-term research plots related looking at the use of BMPs as it related to soil health. For years, Van Eerd’s team has been quantifying changes in soil health over time using indicators such as soil organic carbon and total nitrogen storage level, which can vary in quantity due to tillage system, crop rotation, cover crop use and N application. Dr. Van Eerd is currently looking at how crop yields relate to soil health. |
