500 acre cash crop since 1980 no livestock since 1990 in partnership with my wife Pat. Our usual rotation is strip or no -till corn followed by no -till soybean and wheat followed by multi species cover crops. For the last 5 years we have been applying Bio solids. Retiring Pioneer sales rep 43 years and retiring CCA . Our goal is to have something growing year round on all our fields. We also broadcast wheat or rye after corn harvest with varying success. Have tried to promote good land stewardship and definitely an cover crop enthusiast. We take advantage of Maitland Valley Conservation Authority grants and programs. Strip Till, No Till, cover crops, test plots. Always keep living plants year round if possible.
