Farming since 1976,Notill since 2001, about 700 acres, crop rotation corn-soy wheat, cover crops-red clover after wheat and inter seed rye grass into standing corn. We strip till for the corn,all fertilizer is applied in the strip. We have grid sampled most of our land and variable rated potash to our desired levels. We are starting to use soil optics to determine our sub soils and phosphorus levels.we will be using Climate Corp to further investigate our crop variables and water holding capacity.
