After a mid career journey which demanded most of my attention off the farms (Ridgetown College, launching Ontario Weather Network, then going private with Weather INnovations) I'm returning to farming directly and applying data decision practices at home. That will include test plots, sensor measurements, remote sensing, etc. The custom operators I've worked with have used much heavier equipment than I did in my early farming days and I'm particularly concerned about soil compaction remediation.
