We bought the farm from my parents in 1987. Dad was a huge help for many years until he passed away in 2011. Since 2007, my son Ben and I have farmed together. We have no-tilled the bulk of our soys and wheat for 25+ years. We tried some no-till corn in the late '80's and have the diploma from the expensive education we had. For a number of years after that we did a full tillage behind wheat stubble, planted our corn and then no-tilled beans and wheat. We used to underseed red clover into the wheat, but went away from clover, because I wanted to do the tillage when the ground was dry in August, not when it was wet in late October.
