Farmed for last 27 years, currently sharing resources with cousin and together we manage around 2800 acres. Crop rotation includes processing tomatoes, sugar beets, corn, soybeans, wheat and rye(for cover crop seed). We have been using cover crops for a long time, early on the goal was to cover sandy knolls with rye to prevent blowing soil/sandblasted tomato plants in the spring.
