September Corn & Wheat Field Day
Wednesday, September 9, 2026 9:00 am – 12:00 pmMark Ribey and Harry Biermans are opening Biermans Farms for a morning on strip till, cover crops and robotics in the field — about ten minutes northeast of Paisley.
The morning is built around what farmers in this part of the province keep asking each other about. Not a presentation — a walk through what is actually in the ground, with the people who put it there, and equipment running while you watch.
The agenda
- 8:30 AM — Coffee and registration
- 9:00 AM — Intro to the Ontario Soil Network and Biermans Farms
- 9:15 AM — Cover crops, with Quality Seeds
- 10:15 AM — Strip till, with Ben Rosser
- 11:15 AM — AgRobotics in the field — data and a live demo
- 12:00 PM — Wrap up

Corn and wheat growers across Grey-Bruce, and anyone else who wants to see these practices on local ground. Crop advisors and agronomists are welcome.
