Our small farm has been in our family for 4 generations. Currently my parents, wife and 2 children work together to produce: asparagus, potatoes, sweet corn, squash and pumpkin for our local community in North Waterloo Region. We rotate Corn,soybeans, wheat and (recently) alfalfa in our rotation on 30 ac - We have been working on cover crops and no-till for 6 years, but have challenges with some vegetable crops like potatoes and sweet corn. Tillage still happens on our farm, but we continue to work on ways to adapt and change management practices.
