Farming for 20 years with my wife and brother. Approx 380 acres. 1200 head finishing hogs on contract barn. We also run a small product research business in partnership with Dr Dave Hume, Professor Emeritus UofG. I also have a crop consulting business with select farmers who wish to do business with me. - Complete no-till for 10 years. Cover crop advocate ... trying to complete cover crops after corn. Trying to stay off my soil with the manure spreader during susceptible compaction damaging times. Am getting better at trying to inject manure into corn at the 4-5 leaf stage or after wheat into standing cover crops. Having been "Planting Green" for two years now, into Corn, soybeans, White beans and Industrial Hemp. I am willing to talk about both successes and failures.
