I grew up on the farm until I was almost 17 and went away for school; then I worked on the farm for 2 seasons; and now have been back for over 4 years and have taken over the farm. I farm with my slowly retiring parents and the occasional apprentice. We primarily do hay and pasture with the occasional garden or mixed grain patch. We have 65 workable acres. We farm 32 head of cattle, 6 draft horses, pastured chickens and pigs.
