Working on Farm for almost 20 years, Managing my own crops for 4 years. ~2200 acre conventional no-till and ~100 acre organic grain cash crop operation. Corn->Soybean/edible bean-> Small grain+ cover crop rotation. Some chickens as livestock. 1200 tap maple syrup operation as well. I am on the York Region Federation of Agriculture board, and a member of the EFAO doing farmer-led research with quinoa. I also spend a lot of time advocating for farmland protection and better land-use planning in Ontario.
